Day 1

Riobamba - Alausí

In the morning our guide will pick us up at the agreed place for us to live an amazing adventure in the Ecuadorian highlands.

We will undertake our way and after about 3 hours of travel, passing through the major cities of the Midwest, admiring beautiful landscapes, reach to the city of Riobamba where we will stop to visit its main attractions.

Later we will go to Alausí, where we spend the night.


Day 2

The Devil's Nose train ride

Willing to spend an unforgettable day on rails, in the morning we will drive to the train station, where it initiates the route called the Devil's Nose, here we will live a great adventure on board, the train descends 800m in the zig-zag the rock formation, which by its difficulty and form was called with this allusion to the devil.

On the way we pass a number of small villages nestled in the mountains and vast areas with incredible scenery .

Arriving at the station Sibambe, we about an hour to enjoy the place, will we observe a dance organized by the indigenous community toltec, here you'll also find a place where you can buy crafts from the area.

We will return in train towards Alausí.

After a wonderful day depart for Quito.



Duration: 2 days/1night, starts in Quito.



What equipment do I need?

You should carry both light clothing as warm (the weather in Quito is variable and it is best to be prepared), swimwear, if possible extra clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses will make this adventure more comfortable, a camera is always great, but if you haven't it, dont worry our guide will take pictures for you, and some videos to share with friends.

Can pay by credit card?

And the shoes?

You can use any kind of shoes, but preferably ones that are cofortables use and allow you to walk without problems.
